Being that today is Wednesday and I am always crushing on myself on Wednesdays, as all my BEAUTIFUL LADIES should be.    I am just posting some cute pics of myself, just chillin', just because I love me 💖😍.   The most important thing about looking good is feeling good and feeling good starts with YOU.  It's just like having a healthy relationship...you can't love anyone else if you don't love yourself first.  It ALL starts with you Boo 😗

Tall Girl Problems

I'm about 5'10, which is tall for a female, extremely tall according to my life experiences.   I was always the tallest in my class and I am the tallest of all but one of my siblings.  I ham the youngest of 8, 3 brothers, 4 sisters.   I used to be ashamed of my height when I was young, but as I grew up and "blossomed" as my Mom likes to say, I have really learned to love and embrace my size.  I don't mind when people call me an Amazon anymore.  I am a strong warrior Princess 😘.  ....make that QUEEN.  Where I use to crouch down, I stand tall above the crowd with pride.  I like that others look up to me.  Being tall makes me feel special now...  I have nice long legs, I can reach things in high places, heels just make me look better.....the list goes on.


There are some very minor setbacks in the wardrobe department, that can be dealt with in the best of ways.... and I can tell you how I personally deal with them.  First of all, it is very important to make sure you cater to your size when it comes to shopping for clothes.  When I say that, I mean you have to buy clothes that fit..... Let me say that again.  YOU HAVE TO BUY CLOTHES THAT FIT!!!!  You pants and jeans have to be long enough.  This is very important, just like the length of your maxi dresses.  Your sleeves on your shirts need to be long enough and these are the things that really stand out on a tall woman and make the difference when it comes to how good her clothes look on her.  I have 2 favorite spots that I like to hit up for my basics and some special pieces too.  I am an avid online shopper and I will tell anybody that.  First of all, when you shop online, there is a better selection, you can shop in your pjs and the deals are better.  Now one of my favorite places to shop online is Old Navy.  I shop there for myself and my son and i have been a faithful customer for years.  I have fell in love with Old Navy  over the last couple of years because they have begun to cater to talls and that is only online.  I find such great deals on nice wardobe staples online.  They always have discounts, super cash and all kinds of ways to save money.  I love Old Navy, love, love, love them.  Their tall sizes have nice long sleeves and nice length that you can't get too many other places....really hardly anywhere, especially with such good quality.

Another on of my favorite places to get clothes, and this is where I buy my jeans and pants from, is Alloyapparel.com.  They have some amazing quality jeans and pants on this site.  I have been shopping with them for years.   I love the extended sizes and inseams.  They have jeans into plus sizes and lengths up to 39" inseam in some styles.    For me, I haven't found lengths like that anywhere...but I'm still looking :)   I am telling you though ladies, you have got to check out Alloyapparel.com.  You can find nice blouses, dresses, sweaters, leggings, and sweatpants.  I have even brought some gorgeous Steve Madden coats from them at amazing prices.  Remember to sign up for their email list to get their coupons and discounts too.  You can thank me later babes.

Who Am I?

  I have always been a lover of Fashion, and all things beautiful.  I love shopping, but to be honest, my taste is far more expensive than I can actually afford.  Another thing that I have working against me, is I am a tall, pretty woman :).   Now, don't get me wrong, I love being tall, but I didn't always.  I use to be embarrassed because I was the tallest girl in school, and my pants never came down to my ankles, or my dresses never came down to the ground.  Nowadays, I have learned to embrace my height, and appreciate the beautiful woman that is me.  I have learned to shop, and wear clothes that flatter my body type, all while saving money.  In my travels, I had a hard time finding many clothing stores and websites where I could buy inexpensive, and still cute clothes from.  Especially ones that fit me the way I like.  I was able to luck up and find a couple that I am very loyal too though, and I am going to share them with you.   The purpose of me starting this blog is to share all of my findings, whether, it be great bargains, or the best places to shop for clothes, and tips that have come in handy for me.  I intend to reach out to all my fellow lengthy lovelies out there, as well as the voluptuous vixens that are bigger than a size 2.  It is so important that we embrace our beauty, no matter what size we are; and it's even better when we can do it without breaking the bank.  Am I right ladies?  I mean, after all, I am a single mother, and I know what it is like to pinch a penny.  So let's do this together.  Let's be beautiful on a budget.
